Back on the Mojo Train

Well I am back doing Mojo Monday. This week I actually knew what I was going to do. I am very pleased with the results.

This weekend I was in Michael's and bought this adorable paper pack. It is from SEI and it is called "Playday." It is absolutely too cute for words. I was going to use the giraffe and the elephant images from the paper, but I found that they were just too big.

The supplies used for this weeks card are of course the SEI Paper Pack, for the patterned paper and some of the card stock. I also used the Core'dinations card stock. The stamps are from Hero Arts as well as Close to My Heart. The Ink is Versamark and Close to My Heart. The scallop circle and the white circle were cut out on my Cricut using the Mini Monograms cartridge. The ribbon is from an unknown source.
Hope you enjoy the card for this Week's Mojo Monday (Episode 101.) Don't forget to leave a comment on my blog.
I am still trying to figure out how to edit a video and what type of software is the best. If you have any suggestions, let me know as well.

My Baby Bros Wedding

I have been so busy lately with my brother's wedding
g that I haven't had time to blog. I'm sure you will under stand when you see some of the pictures.

It was a beautiful wedding. It took place at Crescent Falls close to Jasper. It was so pretty. They had a lot of their pictures takes by the waterfalls which was such nice backdrop for wedding pictures.

They didn't have a
professional photographer, just a few friends with some very expensive cameras. I got in there with my camera as well. I felt like I got quite a few good photographs of them.

We did manage to take a group family photo in amidst all the chaos. There seems to be fewer and fewer time that the whole family is together. Which I find is terribly sad. It seems that life has taken each of our families in different directions and we hardly get to see one another anymore.

My sister and brother-in-law stayed out for a week after the wedding with their kids and we got to spend quite a bit more time together. We got to go to Reynold's Museum (an antique car museum) and the Aviation Hall of Fame. We had my nephew's birthday at our house as well. My sister and I even got to get a few Scrabble games in.

All and all, it was a very good holiday. So as you can see, I never had much time to get in my Mojo Monday cards. I am hoping that the next thing you see on my blog will be a scrap booking page video. I'm not sure how to make a video and post it on the web, but I'm going to give it a try. If I can't figure it out, I will post the directions on how to make it with play by play pictures.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Oh Holidays, Sweet Holidays

I am back from Holidays. It was hard to believe how fast a week goes. It was so much fun. We did a lot of fishing, sight seeing, and we even got to go to the Winnipeg Zoo.

I love going back home. This time was far more exciting, because for the first time I was taking my hubby to my home town. I was very nervous as to what he was going to think of it. He did tell me that he loved being there and that he would like to go back again but for longer next time.

This is a picture of us standing in front to the Sharp tail Grouse of Ashern.

I also have a card for Mojo Monday. I didn't forget about posting that. I don't know if I am rusty from holidays or what but nothing was going my way on this card. I did the best I could. Well here is is.
The card stock is from SEI and unknown. The glossy paper is from Ranger. The patterned paper is from Bo Bunny and Karen Foster. The stamps are from Stampscapes and the ink is from StazOn. The brads are from Close to My Heart and the ribbon is from unknown.
I also used Ranger liquid Pearls to add a bit of shine to the brown card stock. I'm kind of regretting doing that. I think it was better before.
Anyways, let me know what you think of it. Both good and bad. Have an awesome week.
